How MEGA Alma-Ata prepares to open

The MEGA Alma-Ata mall has passed an inspection, received a work permit and on August 17 will open its doors to its visitors. We will tell you how the shopping center is preparing for the opening and about the disinfection measures that are provided here.

All malls have special sanitary teams. Every three hours they wash the floors throughout the entire shopping center and every hour they process surfaces — escalator handrails, elevators, benches, etc. Processing is carried out not only inside the mall, but also in the adjacent territory.

Disinfection tunnels are installed at the entrances to the shopping center. The product used in the tunnels is organic; it does not contain alcohol, chlorine, hydrogen peroxide and other chemicals. The disinfection effect lasts from 48 to 72 hours.

Hand sanitizers are installed throughout the shopping centers. They use a multifunctional antiseptic substance with a prolonged antimicrobial effect. There are also antiseptics in every boutique — this is a prerequisite for their work.

Shopping centers are regularly ventilated, air handling units are disinfected. Increased filtration and ventilation of the premises by drawing in air from the outside.

On August 17, boutiques, beauty salons, dry cleaning and ateliers will reopen in the MEGA Alma-Ata mall. The food court, children's entertainment areas and a cinema will remain closed.
