Such brands as H&M, ZARA, New Yorker, Armani Jeans, Marc O'Polo, Monsoon Accessorize, Baldinini, Starbucks, Burger King, KFC, Hardee's and many others opened here their first stores in Kazakhstan.

On the third floor of MEGA Alma-Ata there is a of Restaurant gallery, where Vietnamese, Korean, Oriental, Japanese and European cuisines are represented.
One of the attractions of Almaty is a Ferris Wheel with a height of 60 meters, located on the territory of MEGA Alma-Ata shopping mall.

In 2018, the building extension of the north wing of MEGA Alma-Ata Mall was initiated. The area of the extension is 11 000 square meters. Thanks to the implementation of this project, MEGA Alma-Ata has the largest cinema in Kazakhstan — a 15 movie hall multiplex with an area of 8 572 square meters. It is located on two floors and can accommodate more than 2 000 spectators at a time.

MEGA Alma-Ata shopping mall is the first shopping and entertainment mall in Kazakhstan, which has received the BREEAM In-Use International certificate. BREEAM In-Use is a unique certification program that allows evaluating functioning buildings for compliance with the standards of effective operation and maintenance of the real estate. The project was rated VERY GOOD by category: management, health and comfort, water, eco-friendly materials, energy-saving technologies, etc. MEGA Alma-Ata shopping mall is marked with the quality mark «Excellent» of the Consumers National League of Kazakhstan.
