Holidays in MEGA Silk Way!
The students of Almaty residential school № 2 will remember these summer holidays for a long time! Astana Group company invited them to Astana, the students visited EXPO and had fun in MEGA Silk Way
The children with impaired functions of the musculoskeletal system live and study in Almaty correctional residential school № 2. A trip to Astana was a real adventure for them. From the train station they headed straight to the EXPO. First stop was a Kazakhstan pavilion which is located in «Nur Alem”, the biggest sphere building in the world. The diameter of this enormous sphere is 80 metres! Fascinating images of the space, a moon buggy, the «Museum of future energy”, the panoramic view of Astana from a height of 100 metres — it took two hours for the kids to walk around eight floors of the sphere.
Meanwhile, MEGA Silk Way was awaiting for young travellers. First of all, the kids went straight to Happylon, a family entertainment park. They were impressed by the charming inhabitants of the sea animal park — dolphins Dason, Danya, Flori and Zel.
Next the travellers team went to Evrikum wonder park for new adventures. The kids conducted real experiments in Physics, optics, gravitation, acoustic and mechanics. Who knows, maybe at that moment some of these boys and girls decided to be a scientist in the future.
«Hooray, «Cars” is my favourite cartoon!” exclaimed kids, when they knew that Chaplin cinema invited them for a special movie screening. After the cartoon, kids went to the biggest trampoline park in Kazakhstan — Kango. The coaches of the park ran a warm up session and showed a few gymnastic gimmicks.
Two days in the capital city flew by. It’s sad to say goodbye to MEGA friends, but the parents are waiting for their kids in Almaty. Hosts gave a memorable gifts to the kids, which includes encyclopaedia of the historic places and sightseeing of Kazakhstan. And kids gave to the MEGA Silk Way staff their own handicrafts.
«It was an unforgettable trip for the kids, they learnt a lot, visited Astana, EXPO, and, of course, they were chuffed by «Mega”. It’s very important for the development and health of these children.' shared her impressions the Headmistress of the school Bakhyt Yermekova.
